Trendspotting: Casual First Date

I recently got a note from a follower saying how she loves the styles under the ‘Creating That Look’ section but feels that she is more of a kick-back girl and wouldn’t be able to translate or afford those styles in her daily life. So I took it upon myself to put together something without forgetting her minimal personality (which is also the theme of the week).  Since she’s also going on a first date, I decided to give her something chic and sexy that doesn’t look too forced. Looking low key and sexy simultaneously can be a task even for the best of us, but the summer months allow us a little gem that treads the line nicely: play-suits.

1. The Oasis play-suit featured here is fun and flirty and can be dressed up or down, depending on one’s comfort  level.

2. Go casual or dressy by opting for either the Steve Madden wedges or Topshop chained flats.

3. Accentuate this ensemble with gold hoops and stacked bangles from Forever 21 paired with a cross body bag from Nine West.

4. Complete the look by highlighting your eyes with this defining eyeliner from Sue Devitt.
